Week 1 - Research task

1. The Flash Guide Number refers to how powerful the flash is. The Flash Guide Aperture is the recommended aperture you should set your camera to if you divide the Guide Number by the distance between the flash and your subject. So Guide Aperture = Guide Number/Distance. If the guide number of the flash you were using was 30, and your subject was 2 metres away from the flash, you would divide 30 by 2 which is 15, and then use the closest f-stop, 16.
2. 5800K (use Daylight white balance setting)
3. The lighting ratio would be 2:1
4. 16:1 - holy moley, that's dramatic!!!
